The author researched that today in Ukraine, the reintegration of the population in the temporarily occupied territories is complex and multifaceted. This includes not only security issues, but also economic, social and political aspects. It is emphasized that one of the biggest problems related to the reintegration of the population is ensuring security in the territory that was under the control of the occupiers. In this context, it is important to ensure adequate protection of the population and its property, as well as to preserve state and territorial integrity. It has been found that the territory returned to government control usually harbors a significant number of illegal armed formations and armed groups. Ensuring the safety of the population and its property in this context is an extremely difficult task that requires effective control and countermeasures. It was determined that the implementation of the process of reintegration of territories may face significant challenges and obstacles, such as the presence of armed conflicts, political risks, economic restrictions and other factors. Therefore, it is important to ensure proper management of the process of reintegration of territories and to work with international partners and organizations that can provide assistance in solving these challenges. In general, the implementation of the process of reintegration of territories can be an important step in ensuring peace and stability in the region, which can have positive consequences for the local population and general security.
