FEATURES OF INVESTMENT ENSURING THE FUNCTIONING OF THE AGRICULTURAL SECTOR OF UKRAINE IN THE GLOBAL ECONOMIC ENVIRONMENT

The main features of investment support for the functioning of the agricultural sector of Ukraine in the conditions of the global economic environment have been studied and analyzed. It has been established that the domestic agricultural sector has significant potential and opportunities for the development of some of its areas, including the potential for the development of organic production. An analysis of the dynamics of world production, consumption, stocks and trade in grain was carried out, as well as the top exporters of agricultural products in the 2019/2021 marketing years and the geographical structure of the export of goods from Ukraine. It has been determined that Ukraine has been one of the most important participants in the global agricultural market for a long time and is among the ten world leaders in it. Based on the analysis of the structure of Ukrainian exports by product groups, it was established that in the structure of the economy of Ukraine in the pre-war period, the agro-food market took second place in terms of export revenues after the metallurgical complex. On the basis of the conducted research, the amount of losses and unearned income of domestic agricultural producers as a result of the ongoing military aggression on the territory of Ukraine by Russia was determined. Based on the results of a critical analysis of the dynamics of domestic agricultural exports, it was concluded that although the scale of most relevant global markets is not too large, the domestic potential for a possible increase in its presence on them is too significant, which should represent the interest of external investors, including multinational companies, which are already fruitfully working and widely represented on the domestic agricultural market (mainly in processing, logistics, etc.).
