INSTITUTIONAL FOUNDATIONS FOR THE FORMATION OF A MECHANISM FOR MONITORING THE EFFECTIVENESS OF FOREIGN ECONOMIC ACTIVITY OF UKRAINE IN THE CONTEXT OF INTEGRATION INTO THE EUROPEAN UNION

Abstract

The relevance of the topic is обусловлена the need to enhance the effectiveness of Ukraine’s foreign economic activity in the context of deepening integration into the European Union and increasing global competition. At the same time, the formation of an effective mechanism for monitoring its performance is a key prerequisite for making well-grounded managerial decisions and adapting the national economy to European standards. The object of the study is the processes of formation and functioning of the mechanism for monitoring the effectiveness of Ukraine’s foreign economic activity under conditions of European integration transformations. The problem addressed in the article lies in the lack of a comprehensive institutional approach to assessing the performance of foreign economic activity, which complicates the adaptation of national economic policy to European Union standards and reduces the effectiveness of managerial decision-making in this area. The essence of the obtained results consists in substantiating the institutional foundations for the formation of a mechanism for monitoring the effectiveness of foreign economic activity, identifying its key principles, and developing a system of evaluation indicators covering foreign trade, investment activity, export competitiveness, and the level of integration into the European economic space. The obtained results made it possible to solve the identified problem due to their complexity, systematic nature, and focus on institutional coherence between public authorities, regulatory frameworks, and information-analytical infrastructure. The practical application of the results is possible under conditions of improving the institutional environment, implementing modern digital information and analytical systems, and ensuring coordination among public administration entities in the field of foreign economic activity.
