INNOVATIVE PEDAGOGICAL TECHNOLOGIES AS A FACTOR IN IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF EDUCATION

The article explores the essence and significance of innovative pedagogical technologies in the context of improving the quality of education. Theoretical approaches to defining the concept of «innovative learning technology» are summarized as a systematic method of creating, applying, and evaluating pedagogical processes. The main directions of innovation in education are revealed – the use of information and communication technologies, interactive, project-based, distance, and blended learning forms that ensure the individualization of educational trajectories and the development of key competencies of learners. It is substantiated that the quality of education directly depends on the level of innovativeness of pedagogical activity, the teacher’s ability for creative inquiry, research activity, and self-development. The role of innovative pedagogical activity in forming life-creating competence, developing critical thinking, independence, and personal responsibility is highlighted. It is concluded that the implementation of innovations promotes the transition from a knowledge-based to a competence-oriented model of education, increasing its effectiveness, openness, and compliance with European educational standards.
