PRINCIPLES FOR DEVELOPING THE PROFESSIONAL CULTURE OF PRACTICAL PSYCHOLOGISTS IN VOCATIONAL (VOCATIONAL-TECHNICAL) EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS

The article provides a theoretical substantiation of the principles for developing the professional culture of practical psychologists in vocational (vocational-technical) education institutions.
The aim of the article is to theoretically substantiate the principles for developing the professional culture of practical psychologists in vocational (vocational-technical) education institutions and to determine their role in the professional development of specialists and the provision of a psychologically safe educational environment.
The research methodology is based on theoretical methods: systemic-structural analysis (hierarchical classification and differentiation of the principles for developing the professional culture of practical psychologists in vocational (vocational-technical) education institutions into fundamental (general) and contextual (specific) ones); terminological analysis to refine definitions; and modeling to determine the logical connections between the internal transformations of the psychologist’s personality and the external requirements of the educational environment.
The scientific novelty lies in the substantiation of the division of professional culture development principles for practical psychologists into general and specific categories; the development of a classification of general principles (methodological, psychological-pedagogical, organizational-professional, personal-axiological); and the definition of a system of specific principles for developing the professional culture of practical psychologists in vocational education institutions, which are grouped into ethico-professional, organizational-functional, professional safety and well-being, and socially-oriented categories.
The implementation of general and specific principles for developing the professional culture of practical psychologists in vocational education institutions contributes to enhancing the quality of psychological support within the educational process, forming a psychologically safe educational environment, developing the psychological culture of all educational process participants, fostering the professional development of the aforementioned specialists, and ensuring their professional well-being.
