Abstract

Target. Analyze theoretically and empirically study the features of the work motivation of employees. Methodology. The work was carried out on the basis of theoretical and empirical research methods. Theoretical methods: analysis and generalization to clarify the state of development of the research subject; systematization and interpretation of the problem under study. Empirical methods: methodology “Motivation for success” by T. Ehlers; methodology “Motivation of professional activity” by K. Zamfir (modified by A. Rean); methodology “Determination of stress resistance and social adaptation” by T. Holmes and R. Rage. Mathematical and statistical methods: the processing of the research results was carried out using the mathematical and statistical method of quantitative analysis. Scientific novelty. As a result of the analysis of the existing theoretical approaches to studying the phenomenon of motivation, the connection between the motives of labor activity of the employees of the organization and favorable social and psychological conditions in the organization was revealed. The positions obtained as a result of the research, aimed at improving and solving practical problems arising in the work of employees. The findings, generalizations and proposals contained in the study can be used in organizations to develop adequate techniques to stimulate professional activity. Conclusions. The head of the enterprise, in order to maximize the interest of employees properly, needs to build an organized system of motivating and stimulating the work of subordinates. However, in order to retain employees and attract them to increase the results of their own activities, salary alone is not enough. A comprehensive system of stimulating the efficiency of personnel labor is needed, which will include not only material, but also moral incentives, the basis of which is labor motivation.
