EDUCATION DEVELOPMENT IN CONDITIONS OF EMERGENCIES AND CRISIS: PRINCIPLES OF RESILIENCE

The article is devoted to the study of the issue of the development of education in conditions of emergencies and crises. The article analyzes the principles of educational sustainability, the application of which is actively implemented in the educational space and affects the quality of education. The role of each principle of educational sustainability formulated by the Council of Europe is determined and analyzed, including: strengthening governance, ensuring the continuity of education, expanding the role of education, promoting accessibility, developing cooperation and increasing efficiency. The focus is on the fact that the quality of education is a strategic priority, particularly in the era of social and economic crises and emergencies, it is also regarded as a prerequisite for economic development, the sustainability of democratic institutions, and social cohesion. The paper outlines the issue of adopting and implementing new educational standards that must correspond to contemporary realities. It examines the substance of the emerging educational philosophy and concludes that it is grounded in trust, partnership, and openness. The study proposes pathways for elevating the quality of education to a qualitatively new level, particularly through the integration of the principles of educational sustainability into the development of the education system and the assurance of its quality. The introduction of digital technologies is fundamentally transforming both education and its underlying philosophy, as these technologies serve as instruments capable of ensuring the mobility and continuity of the educational process. Digitalization of education is an objective requirement of the time, and the modern educational process is impossible without digitalization. But in order for the digitalization of education to be aimed at the development of the student and provide high-quality conditions for learning, it is necessary to provide a comprehensive approach to minimize the potential risks that digitalization entails. The education system is characterized by new features: there is a large number of educational platforms and technologies, and management decisions are made on the basis of generalized systematized data. And the application of the developed principles of educational sustainability makes it possible to ensure the educational process in any crisis conditions and situations.
