MEANINGFUL ASPECTS OF STATE-MANAGEMENT COMPETENCE OF THE HEAD OF EDUCATIONAL ORGANIZATION

Abstract. Activities in a variety of socio-economic fields of human existence are always manifested in the level of competence of its subject. Understanding the level of professional training of the subject of activity, the process of his professional development, the mastery of experience, as a whole in the environment and in professional activities allow to identify a competent subject, focused on self-education and self-improvement, the direction of the future and who can predict changes All of this refers to the subjects of the educational branch. The modernization taking place in the sphere of Ukrainian education involves the transition of management models to the competence paradigm today. New approaches to the development of education call for intensive attention to the competencies and qualifications of the heads of educational institutions, as they, modern managers, are called to implement educational changes in life. The content aspects of competences and requirements to the general professional competence of the head of the educational institution, the influence of his management activity on the efficiency of providing educational services are analyzed in the article on the basis of the generalization of the investigated material. Implementation of the up-to-date organisational approaches, different forms of management at the educational institutions: nature, issues, main components and elements, positive approaches to their efficiency are substantiated. The author's approach to the essence of the concepts of "competence", "competence", "approach of competence" is revealed. The general characteristic of the competence of the head of an educational organization, its components: managerial competence, social, communicative, personal are proposed. It was identified that the managerial focus, suitability, and managerial intensification of educational service delivery can contribute to the performance of the manager of today’s educational institution. The importance of certain managerial functions of the head of an educational organization in the market conditions for the provision of educational services is determined.
