ПОЛИТИКА ЕВРОПЕЙСКОГО СОЮЗА НА ЮЖНОМ КАВКАЗЕ
Abstract
In modern times, European Union (EU) is accepted as a value containing improvement, modernization meanings in itself. On the other side, today EU is an organizational model implementing regional integration successfully. EU, for maintaining its success and playing an important role in the world in political sphere, has included South Caucasus region which is already considered its neighbour to its interests. The main purpose of the programs and projects carried out by EU regarding South Caucasus is diversification of energy needs considering the Russian factor. On the other hand, the solution of security issues in the region and expansionof collaboration on implementation of European values to the region has a great importance for EU. EU has developed its relations with South Caucasuscountries in this context.
