ANALYSIS OF THE EFFICIENCY OF THE MODERN SYSTEM OF LEGAL EDUCATION IN UKRAINE: IDENTIFICATION AND STUDY OF KEY PROBLEMS

Abstract

The primary relevance of the study lies in the fact that in Ukraine at the current stage global changes are taking place in the relationship between the state and the individual in the context of the processes of armed aggression against Ukraine, the formation of civil society and active self-identification of the nation. Thanks to its rights, the modern society of Ukraine has received a great opportunity to test itself in various spheres of life. The value system of each person, who forms his worldview and develops himself with the help of legal education and legal development, depends on the desire and experience of using his knowledge, abilities and skills in his own professional activity, fulfilling the duties provided for by the Constitution of Ukraine, as well as the degree of awareness obligations for the consequences of actions. In addition, the acceleration of the pace of socio-economic and technological changes in society, integration into the European system of the educational environment led to the need for innovative, contextual training, according to which a dynamic traverse from educational activities to professional legal practice should be actively introduced. Educational disciplines in contextual education are not offered as scientific doctrines presented in the form of educational texts, but contain or should contain solutions to practice-oriented tasks. In the process of practical application of the state educational standard from the legal vector of education, specific directions for improving the vertical of the legal profession were outlined, the main goal of training future lawyers was formed – updating the content of educational programs as a result of increasing their practical orientation, that is, the application of a competent and correct perspective of education. The rational method of competence formation of quality in higher education during the implementation of state and international educational standards depends on a reasonable combination of the classical model and innovative teaching methods. Modern educational technologies should be based on clearly defined learning achievements within the necessary competencies, practical orientation and the use of active and interactive learning methods. High-quality and effective training is a set of components, which includes the acquisition of scientific and theoretical knowledge, practice-oriented skills and abilities provided for by the competency approach in the education of lawyers; gaining practical experience already within the educational process; education of a lawyer as a highly educated practitioner with innovative methods of the taught subject and creative possibilities of the teacher. Theoretical methods of scientific knowledge were used to conduct the research: induction, deduction, analysis, synthesis, explanation and abstraction. The main result of the research was the substantiation of the proposition that any approaches to learning contain positive and negative characteristics, and therefore the task of modern education is to effectively combine them, but this, in turn, depends on the goals and the created conditions. The components of the quality and effectiveness of education are the quality of teaching and upbringing, and the latter is achieved by ensuring the appropriate level of each stage of the educational process.
