AVIATION SECURITY – SOME DIRECTIONS TO IMPROVE ITS STATUS IN ACCORDANCE WITH NEW REQUIREMENTS

Abstract

The article analyzes the current state of aviation security. It is proved that aviation security is a very important way of ensuring the safety of citizens' lives. It is only life, because in crashes people who survived after them can count on fingers. In many countries, relevant regulations have been adopted to ensure aviation safety and air transportation. They are all different, but their effectiveness depends on many factors. Several ways of improving the effectiveness of the relevant normative acts are identified in the article. Among them, the main thing is that the relevant services that provide aviation security should continuously monitor the situation in the world and develop plans to prevent such situations in Ukraine. This monitoring system first of all provides an opportunity to anticipate those attacks on airlifts planned by terrorists. In addition, the article analyzes the provision of a system for ensuring the safety of air transport and proposes their classification, which includes such areas as

• safety of the ground part of the air transport infrastructure,
• a human factor that includes pilots and service personnel that provides training for airplanes, loaders, refuelers and other persons working at airports;
• technical readiness of air transport and the possibility of its safe operation
• airspace where air transportation is carried out.

The main aspects of aviation security also include the fact that the exchange of information that may be relevant to aviation security threats must be made immediately, so that the relevant services can respond. In this case, it is necessary to develop an effective mechanism that would ensure such an exchange of information and identify the persons who should be responsible for establishing such a connection. Such a mechanism should include not only one line of communication, for example telephone, but also backup lines such as telegraph, radio, even data transfer through couriers.

A number of other ways to enhance aviation security in Ukraine are also proposed.
