THE INTEGRATIVE APPROACH TO USING SOCIAL NETWORKS IN THE “SCHOOL OF LIBERAL ARTS”

Abstract

This article presents the findings of a pedagogical study on the integrative use of digital communication platforms by the School of Humanitarian Labor (SHGP) under wartime conditions. Against the backdrop of widespread criticism of social networks as sources of distraction, misinformation, and psychological risks, the study offers a unique educational model that transforms these platforms into tools of empathy, cultural engagement, and educational integrity. The article examines the pedagogical potential of Telegram, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and SHGP’s methodical portal as a unified digital ecosystem supporting not only remote learning but also emotional resilience and cultural identity formation. A pedagogical experiment involving students, parents, and educators demonstrated increased motivation, creativity, and learner agency.The concept of the «pedagogy of the soul» is substantiated through student participation in creating humanistically driven educational content. A comparative analysis with international approaches (blended learning, open pedagogy) highlights the distinctiveness of the SHGP model within the global discourse on humanitarian digital education. This authorial methodology reveals the constructive potential of social networks as a medium for humanistic transformation and sustainable pedagogical response in times of societal disruption.
