This article focuses on studying the socio-psychological characteristics of professional burnout among office workers, with an emphasis on personality traits such as stress resilience and life resilience. The study analyzes factors that contribute to the occurrence of burnout in an office environment. Particular attention is paid to the interrelation between employees’ stress resilience and life resilience and their ability to effectively cope with professional burnout. The purpose of the article is to study and investigate the socio-psychological characteristics of professional burnout in office workers. Methodology: Theoretical methods used for the study include analysis of scientific literature on the topic; logical-psychological analysis (classification, systematization, comparison, generalization). Psychodiagnostic tools used include “Diagnosis of Professional Burnout” (K. Maslach, S. Jackson in the adaptation of N. Vodopyanova); “Lifestyle Analysis Test” (Boston Stress Resistance Test); “S. Maddi’s Life Resilience Test” (adaptation by O. Leontiev, I. Rasskazova). The processing of research results was carried out using the mathematical-statistical method – Spearman’s rank correlation criterion. Scientific novelty: includes the integration of theories of professional burnout with concepts of stress resistance and life resilience, which are traditionally studied separately. This integration allows for a deeper understanding of the dynamics of burnout. Original empirical data are used to analyze the impact of stress resilience and life resilience on coping with professional stress and burnout. Particular attention is given to life resilience as an active protective factor that can be developed to prevent burnout and is considered an important component in developing strategies to counter burnout. Overall, a new perspective on the relationship between stress resilience, life resilience, and professional burnout is proposed, expanding the understanding of this issue. Conclusions: The empirical results obtained indicate a complex relationship between emotional burnout, stress resilience, and life resilience of office workers. They show that emotional exhaustion is closely related to the level of stress resilience and life resilience, as well as the impact of personal achievements and interpersonal relationships at the workplace. The negative correlation between emotional exhaustion and stress resilience underscores the importance of developing strategies to support mental health and develop adaptive skills among office workers.
