The article examines the role of the psychoanalytic approach in the study of the mechanisms of formation and manifestation of behavioral disorders, with an emphasis on the unconscious aspects of the psyche that cause individual reactions and actions. The theoretical principles and practical significance of psychoanalysis are analyzed, in particular its fundamental concepts developed by Z. Freud. The importance of understanding the three main structures of the psyche: Id, Ego and Super-Ego, in the context of their influence on human motivation and behavior is determined. An analysis of scientific studies demonstrating the importance of the psychoanalytic approach in the interpretation of behavioral disorders has been carried out. It was found that the approach of S. Freud provides the key to understanding unconscious conflicts that shape human behavior, emphasizing the critical role of the unconscious in the mental life of an individual. It is justified that modern psychoanalytic research expands the understanding of internal conflicts through clinical practice and empirical research, which allows more effective correction of psychological disorders. The mechanisms by which the early psychosexual stages of personality development influence the formation of adult behavior and its disorders have been determined, which enables new approaches to therapeutic intervention. Methodological aspects of the analysis of psychoanalytic theories in the detection and treatment of behavioral disorders have also been improved, which contributes to more effective psychotherapy based on understanding the influence of unconscious factors. The conclusions drawn demonstrate that the psychoanalytic approach provides a comprehensive understanding of behavioral disorders, taking into account the influence of early childhood experiences, repressed emotions and basic impulses implemented at the unconscious level. Such an integrative understanding contributes to the development of effective psychotherapy methods focused on the identification and resolution of internal conflicts that influence behavior.
