THE BASIC DIRECTIONS OF PSYCHOLOGICAL SUPPORT OF PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF THE PSYCHOLOGIST

Abstract

The article reveals the main directions of psychological support of professional development of a psychologist in a higher educational institution. The specifics of the introduction of the technology of psychological support at each stage of training are analyzed. The development of a student-psychologist as a person, as a subject of activity is the most important goal of professional education and can be considered as its system-forming factor. Vocational school as a social institution should prepare its graduate for future professional life. Becoming a psychologist necessarily involves the development of: professional self-awareness; professional thinking; emotional and volitional sphere; positive attitude to the world and to oneself; independence, autonomy and self-confidence; professionally important qualities. Having studied each of the areas of psychological support, the author concluded that none of them is universal, but their comprehensive use in the system of psychological support allows to achieve sustainable change of student personality not only in behavioral strategies but also at a deep, evaluative level. they may form psychological readiness. As a result, the student will be able to solve their own problems in the future and no longer depend on the specific situation.
