Abstract

The article considers strategic management in the field of education. The definition of strategic management in the field of education is given. The strategy of development of the educational branch is characterized as directions and ways of further behavior of the subjects of the educational branch in the market of educational services. The definition of strategy in the field of education as a purposeful long-term quantitatively and qualitatively oriented direction of development of the educational field is given. The importance of the strategy for any subject of the national economy is determined. The main directions of intra-industry goals are revealed. The procedure for forming a strategy in the field of education is determined. The algorithm of strategy formation in the field of education is illustrated. The definition of "Strategy" is given. The importance of the mission and strategic goals in the field of education is determined. The definition of "Mission" is given. The basic needs of the educational sector of Ukraine in the conditions of globalization are listed. The basic components of the mission, which are characteristic of the education sector, are highlighted. The main stages in the formation of the mission are listed. The main points of the content of the strategy are identified. The main needs to be taken into account when solving strategic tasks in the field of education and its structural segments are listed. The most important rules are analyzed, which include the principles and trends in the development of the structure of strategic management in the field of education. The strategic alternatives available to the education sector are considered. The main procedures are listed, which includes risk management, which is an important element of the stabilization and survival strategy. An assessment of strategic alternatives is given. The definition of "Risk" is given. Possible typical options have been identified, which include a strategy of stabilization in the activities of the subject of education. Conclusions are made on the process of formation and implementation of strategies in the field of education.
