DEVELOPMENT OF FOREIGN ECONOMIC ACTIVITY IN THE AGRICULTURAL SECTOR UNDER MARTIAL LAW IN UKRAINE

During the last two years, a number of problems have been observed in Ukraine in the context of the development of the agrarian sector, the cause of which is precisely the full-scale war. The occupation of territories, the destruction of enterprises and the blocking of transport routes – all this causes the deterioration of the development of agriculture in Ukraine. As a result, a number of changes are taking place in the context of the development of foreign economic activity of the agrarian sector of the Ukrainian economy. Therefore, the study examines the current situation of agricultural production of Ukraine and the foreign economic activity of the agricultural sector in the conditions of martial law. The purpose of the article: on the basis of scientific sources and statistical data, to determine the current state of development of foreign economic activity of the agrarian sector of the economy of Ukraine. The basis of the article is scientific research, publications in open sources based on analytical research, statistical data. First, the main problems of agricultural development in the conditions of a full-scale war are analyzed. In addition, an analysis of the dynamics of the production of agricultural products for the period 2018-2022 was carried out. Further, the main losses suffered by crop and animal husbandry under martial law were analyzed. The main consequences of the martial law for the foreign economic activity of the agrarian sector are also determined. Based on the dynamics of profit from exports, it was established that the profit from the export of agricultural products is decreasing, although in 2023 the export volume will gradually recover. In addition, the main measures that ensure the gradual improvement of the state of development of the foreign economic activity of the agrarian sector of Ukraine under modern conditions have been clarified. On the basis of the conducted analysis, the main actions that should further improve the current state of foreign economic activity of the agrarian sector have been determined.
