The article identifies the factors influencing the functioning of domestic agricultural holdings under a state of war and proposes suggestions for adapting their activities to the new business environment. The consequences of the negative impact of Russian armed aggression against Ukraine on the functioning of the agricultural sector of Ukraine are characterized. The peculiarities of agricultural holdings operations in conditions of a state of war are investigated, including the following factors: ensuring the safety of workers, equipment, and territories; changes in supply chains; changes in consumer demand; risks of equipment and infrastructure damage due to military actions. The impact of military actions on the activities of agricultural holdings is analyzed, and the main problems they face are identified. The practice of adapting agricultural holdings activities to changing business environments during a military conflict is considered, including entering new markets, diversifying production, implementing new technologies, exploring alternative transportation and supply methods, and establishing partnerships with international companies. Successful examples of agricultural holdings adaptation to changing conditions during a military conflict include the implementation of modern production technologies such as process automation, the use of drones for field monitoring, and intelligent management systems. Emphasis is placed on the need for interaction and cooperation between agricultural holdings and the government to receive assistance and support, including ensuring security in farmland areas and providing stable conditions for agricultural activities. It is also important for agricultural holdings to collaborate with international partners to ensure stability and development in complex conditions of a military conflict. Establishing partnerships with international companies can be a crucial factor in accessing new markets, technologies, and financial resources, which will strengthen the competitiveness of agricultural holdings in challenging conditions. Directions for adapting agricultural holdings activities to the business environment, influenced by military actions, are proposed, emphasizing the need for a comprehensive strategy that includes exploring alternative markets, diversifying production, implementing new technologies, securing financing, and collaborating with the government.
