Abstract

The components of the tourist package in the system of medical tourism are determined. The components of the medical tourism market are analyzed. The system of payment for the provided medical services conducted by the intermediary producers within the framework of the tourist package agreed with the buyer and the provider of medical aid is researched. Methods of payment of medical services provided by medical institutions are determined by the system of organization and financing of health care in the country of entry medical tourism. And retrospective and prospective methods of payment of medical care providers in the system of medical tourism.The system of payment for medical tourism services differentiating according to diagnoses requires an instrument for determining the level of complexity or level of resource intensity of each case in other cases. To this end, payment methods are implemented through clinic-statistical groups or groups of economic standards. The essence of the method of clinical-statistical groups or group economic standards (DRG) is investigated, which consists in the normalization of the costs of treatment of similar diseases, grouped together on the basis of homogeneity of the clinical picture in patients and approximately the same resource capacity provided in the payment of medical services in the medical system tourism and calculating the cost of health services using the experience of countries with advanced health care systems.
