RESEARCH OF PROBLEMS AND PROSPECTS OF DEVELOPMENT OF ENTERPRISES OF THE TOURIST INDUSTRY OF PRYKARPATTYA
Abstract
It is shown that the formation of the national economy in Ukraine is closely linked with the development of the tourism industry as a priority and socially significant; Problems in the development of enterprises of the tourist industry of the Carpathian region are considered. The dynamics of the number of tourists served by enterprises of the tourist industry on the territory of the Carpathian region for the period of 2000–2016 was investigated. The main perspectives concerning the development of enterprises of the tourist industry of the Carpathian region were determined. It is established that in order to improve the management efficiency of enterprises of the tourism industry in the Carpathian region, it is necessary: economic stimulation of the development of the material base of tourism; support of small business in the field of tourism; providing a favorable financial climate, namely: reduction of rent for tourist accommodation; expansion of international cooperation in tourism; improvement of information and advertising in accordance with European and world standards and requirements; improving the quality of tourist services.
