EFFECTIVE PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT AS THE MAIN FACTOR IN INCREASE IN THE COMPETITIVENESS OF COMPANIES IN THE SPHERE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES

The article examines the state and prospects for increasing the competitiveness of the labor market in the field of information technologies (IT). The characteristics of the IT market by types of companies and the specifics of hiring relevant specialists are presented: outsourcing, outstaffing, product, startups. It is noted that outsourcing companies are engaged in software development mainly for clients from other countries, and work according to the b2b model - business to business, outstaffing companies provide an IT specialist for temporary use by other companies, acting as an intermediary between them, working according to the b2b model; product companies, engaged in the development and distribution of their own product, and independently communicate with the end customer implementing the b2c model - business for the consumer; startups are similar in model to product companies, but are exclusively engaged in innovative developments, which require large investment infusions, having high risk but offering possible high profitability in the future. The classification is presented with an example of positions of employees in the field of information technologies and divided into three main groups: developers, other technical specialists and non-technical specialists. The paper presents the median salary based on work experience in the IT sector, analyzes the percentage of specialists in various types of companies in the field of information technology, and the dynamics of the export of IT services for almost a ten-year period. It was found that the full-scale invasion dramatically changed the situation in the IT market with a trend of increasing labor supply compared to demand, and the migration of IT specialists caused by military actions, increased the number of people who wanted to work remotely and have a decent salary at the same time. The prospects for the development of the labor market of the IT industry of Ukraine are outlined, which directly depend on the development of the represented sector of the economy.
