DEVELOPING INCLUSIVENESS IN THE CONTEXT OF FOOD SECURITY

Abstract

The article clarifies the essence and role of inclusiveness in ensuring food security, in particular, it is noted that inclusiveness is a necessary condition for achieving true food security, which takes into account the needs of all people and contributes to the creation of a more just and sustainable world, as it ensures accessibility, justice, community involvement and resilience, which allows minimizing the risks of hunger. Problems, barriers and factors of influence in the implementation of inclusive approaches are revealed. Guidelines for the development of inclusiveness in the food security assurance circuit are determined: ensuring equal access to resources and opportunities for all population groups; strengthening social protection and reducing poverty and inequality; supporting sustainable agriculture and adaptation to climate change; encouraging innovations and technologies focused on the needs of small producers; strengthening institutions and improving governance; ensuring the participation of all groups in decision-making; supporting peace and stability. Appropriate measures for the development of inclusiveness in the food security assurance circuit are developed. It is emphasized that the implementation of the proposed set of measures requires cooperation between the government, the private sector, civil society and international organizations. At the same time, it is important to take into account local conditions and the needs of each specific community to ensure the effectiveness and sustainability of inclusive measures for ensuring food security. The advantages, difficulties, challenges and disadvantages of developing inclusiveness in the food security assurance framework are outlined, it is noted that the advantages significantly exceed the potential difficulties, challenges and disadvantages. However, it is important to take them into account and take measures to level or minimize them in order to ensure effective and sustainable inclusion. It is stated that the development of inclusiveness in the food security assurance framework is not only a matter of social justice, but also a necessary condition for increasing the level of food security and ensuring sustainable development of agriculture. The developed measures will allow for maximum involvement of the potential of all members of society in the production and distribution of food, which contributes to increasing the efficiency, sustainability and fairness of agri-food systems.
