TRENDS OF UNPREPARED ROZRAHUNKOV IN THE MINDS OF DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION IN THE FINANCIAL SECTOR

The global capabilities of the Internet have significantly influenced the development of forms of money as a means of payment, as well as electronic money, electronic banking, online payments and much more. Modern society is accustomed to actively using the latest payment methods and making payments via the Internet using smartphones, tablets and personal computers from anywhere in the world at any time of the day or night. The article identifies current trends in cashless payments in the context of digital transformation of the economy and the financial sector. The main directions of digitalization of cashless transactions are formulated. The report of Capgemini on the state and forecasts of cashless transactions in the world is considered. It is emphasized that the main non-cash payment methods remain credit and debit cards, but financial technology (fintech) firms have developed various mobile alternatives, although they are largely dependent on existing methods. For example, money transfer and payment service PayPal accepts credit cards and bank transfers, while virtual wallets such as Apple Pay, Google Wallet, and Samsung Pay simply tokenize existing credit cards for more secure transfers. The growth of digital payments has been identified as a driver of e-commerce growth and the adoption of an integrated payment platform. The growth of online retail and e-commerce is driving demand for digital payment solutions. They simplify payment processes, support global transactions, enhance security, and play a critical role in mobile commerce. The growth of digital payments is challenged by the rise of cyberattacks on them. An analysis of non-cash payments using payment cards issued by Ukrainian banks in Ukraine and abroad for 2019-2024 was conducted. The analysis shows that over the period under study, these payments have increased several times, especially payments at payment terminals, the number of which in Ukraine has doubled since 2017. The impact of modern innovative technologies on cashless card payments has been studied. A conclusion has been made about the prospects for the further development of cashless payments in the context of digitalization.
