The article proposes a direction for improving and optimizing the distribution of tasks (stages) during forensic examinations (expert research) in order to optimize time and quantitative (statistical) indicators. The possibility of sequential solution and implementation of problems in the form of a block diagram using the simplex method in order to obtain the optimal result is considered. A proposal for the use of the simplex method for conducting forensic examinations (expert studies) under optimal conditions of time and quantitative (statistical) indicators has been developed.
