LOCAL POLITICAL ACTORS: WAYS OF DEMOCRATIC POLITICAL INTERACTION

Abstract

The further development of democratization reforms at the local level in modern Ukraine is considered. Subjects of local political governance in modern Ukraine and foreign countries are studied. Local political interests are revealed, which are closely connected with different levels of political development. The peculiarities of the formation of consolidated democracy in Ukraine, which are related to the problems of local political representation, are established. The level of institutional capacity of local interest groups based on international criteria is discussed. The aim of the article is to establish political entities at the local level and their significance for the system of local political management. The article uses general scientific (analysis, synthesis) and special political science methods (systemic and structural-functional). The ability to coordinate profit-making activities, as well as to create favorable conditions for business as a basic feature of local policy actors, is studied. The most effective ways to implement economic management strategies that help to extend them to public administration are identified. The sequence of changes in the social order in certain territories is revealed, which prompted the activity of the main socio-economic groups. The specifics and motivations of corporate management control over public institutions have been established. Decision-making at the local level by financial-industrial groups on participation in local political processes is studied. The possibilities of constantly forming a new political agenda at the local level are being clarified. The level of local political competition and its dependence on the conflict of economic interests and opportunities to gain advantages in the local political market is studied.
