ETIOPATHOGENETIC FACTORS OF BORDERLINE MENTAL DISORDERS IN CHILDREN 7-10 YEARS

Annotation. Formulation of the problem. The non-psychotic nature of the disorder and the absence of mental retardation are the limits of borderline mental disorders (ADHD). This paper presents developments on the etiopathogenesis of PPR in children at the beginning of their schooling, when the foundations of personality development are laid, which determines the relevance of the publication. Formulation of the purpose of the article. The aim is to investigate the etiopathogenesis of borderline mental disorders in children of primary school age. Analysis of recent research and publications. Recent research on borderline personality disorders is primarily concerned with determining the age limits of early diagnosis, the suitability of modern methods of classification and selection of adequate treatment methods. Materials and methods of research. The results of surveys of 518 children of primary school age were analyzed: the main group of children with CPD and comparison groups. The children were divided into groups according to the medical and social criteria of mental health. The main group included 168 children: 86 boys and 82 girls (8.6 ± 0.8 years), who were treated at the Center for Mental Health of Children and Adolescents, which was the clinical base of the Department of Child, Social and Forensic Psychiatry NMAPE named after PL Shupyk Research results. Patients in the main group were diagnosed with a number of ICD-10 headings, most notably F9, “Behavioral and emotional disorders that usually begin in childhood and adolescence”. The analysis of the frequency of a number of biological, psychological and family-social factors provided an opportunity to assess their effects on the mental health of children in the main group and comparison groups. Analysis of the peculiarities of raising children with CPD confirmed the presence of frequent psychological errors in their parents: there was ignorance about the psychological age and individual characteristics, the nature of neurotic disorders in patients. Conclusions and prospects for further research. A comprehensive analysis of the multifactoriality of the genesis and development of PPR has been carried out, the influence of a combination of constitutional-biological and family-social factors on the mental health of children (from I to III RPZ) and the occurrence of mental disorders has been proved. The important role of the cognitive sphere in the development of CPD has been established. The results of the surveys showed that parents do not have a correct understanding of their children's disorders and the need for family psychological correction.
