Formulation of the problem. The formation of value orientations for future teachers is of particular importance, especially in the context of professional selfrealization of the individual, which determines the relevance of our study.
Analysis of recent research and publications. Finding out the hierarchy of values of students is an important aspect of the organization of the educational process, determining the meaning of life orientations and building an algorithm for achieving the goals of professional self-realization.
Formulating the purpose of the article. The purpose of this work was to study the features of psychological adaptation and value orientations of future teachers using a modified method of "value orientations" M. Rokich.
Presenting main material. Value orientations are a sign of a mature personality, they provide stability of the personality, certainty and consistency of its behavior, are an indicator of the degree of entry of the individual into social relations. If life goals are not realized, then there is a threat of intrapersonal conflict, which is manifested through insecurity, loss of incentives for self-realization. The presence of value regulators ensures the stability of the individual at a time of crisis of failure.
Conclusions and prospects for further research. The study of the value orientations of student youth showed their relationship with the process of personal development activity. The following values are o1f the greatest importance for future teachers: happy family life; the presence of good and faithful friends; physical and mental health. The big difference between the value of "interesting work" and its subjective achievement is related to some students with such a conflict as "motivational". The value of "self-confidence" (inner harmony, freedom from internal contradictions, doubts) is the most difficult for students to achieve. For junior students, the main value was "the presence of good and loyal friends", and for seniors - "happy family life", which logically reflects the age dynamics of personal priorities. It is worth noting that the least important for students are such values as "creativity (the possibility of creative activity)", which indicates the need to direct curricula and training programs for future teachers to its formation. However, perhaps the last place of this value is due to the age factor, the presence of situationally more relevant values at this stage of life. Clarification of this issue, which is extremely important for the formation of personality and acquisition of professional competencies of future teachers, requires further research.
