THE ROLE OF STANDARDIZATION IN THE APPLICATION OF TOOLS OF STATE REGULATION OF URBAN PLANNING ACTIVITIES (ON THE EXAMPLE OF EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS)

Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this study is to analyze the compliance of the draft regulatory document DSTU «Design guidelines for new construction, reconstruction and major repair of dining rooms in educational institutions (general secondary education institutions and pre-school education institutions) and children’s establishments recover and rest. Food organization models» (developed by the SE «UKRNDCIVILBUD») with international requirements and the current regulatory framework of Ukraine in the field of state regulation of urban planning activities. The scientific novelty of the study lies in establishing the compliance of the developed DSTU «Design guidelines for new construction, reconstruction and major repair of dining rooms in educational institutions (general secondary education institutions and pre-school education institutions) and children’s establishments recover and rest. Food organization models» with international requirements and the current regulatory framework of Ukraine in the field of state regulation of urban planning activities. In conclusion this standard is aimed at modern and efficient material and technical support for food blocks in educational institutions throughout Ukraine. The specified DSTU project envisages the construction of new type school food blocks, including those with large capacities. This will allow for centralized provision of meals to students of the school and neighboring schools, facilitating access to healthy food for all participants in the educational process. This aligns with the provisions of the Law of Ukraine “On the Principles of State Regulatory Policy in the Field of Economic Activity” and contributes to the optimization of building space usage, labor resources, energy sources, and so forth. Overall, this will yield economic benefits and serve as an effective tool for state regulation of economic activities of territorial communities.
