The article is devoted to the study of the socio-psychological adaptation features of Ukrainian forced migrants in the Netherlands, a topic of significant relevance in the context of growing global migration processes. The article highlights the main challenges faced by migrants, including language barriers, cultural differences, economic difficulties, and psychological stress. The research methodologies employed, such as semi-structured interviews, the DASS-21 scale, and O.S. Chaban's «Quality of Life Scale», allowed for a comprehensive assessment of anxiety, depression, stress levels, and overall well-being among migrants. The results of the study indicate a high level of psychological stress among the migrants, manifested through increased anxiety, stress, and depression. Specifically, 70% of respondents reported high stress levels, 60% experienced heightened anxiety, and 50% exhibited depressive symptoms. Key factors complicating adaptation include language barriers, cultural differences, and economic instability. At the same time, the research identified the positive impact of social support from family and the Ukrainian community in the Netherlands, which contributes to reducing emotional strain and facilitating integration into the new environment. The study underscores the importance of a comprehensive approach to migrant support, incorporating psychological assistance, language training, cultural orientation, and professional development. The authors provide recommendations for the implementation of corrective and developmental programs for socio-psychological adaptation, aimed at improving the quality of life of migrants and ensuring their successful integration into the host society. The results obtained are important for developing effective strategies for the integration of migrants at both the national and international levels. Future research prospects include the analysis of long-term effects of adaptation processes, as well as comparative studies of the effectiveness of integration programs in various European Union countries. This work contributes to a deeper understanding of the needs of Ukrainian forced migrants and is valuable for the practical implementation of support programs for this population group.
