Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to study the problem of organizing the service of recreational activities. The urgency of the chosen issue is due to the fact that currently there is an increased interest in activities to restore viable human strength. At the same time, the question of such an organization of service in the recreational sphere remains open, which would be accessible to the majority of the population, but could meet the needs of people belonging to different socio-demographic groups. Problems of development of recreational activity from the standpoint of service activity are considered, and also recommendations on introduction of modern technologies of the organization of customer service are given. The basic interpretations of "recreational activities" and services are studied. It is established that recreational activities are activities aimed at restoring mental, spiritual and physical strength of man through health and cultural and cognitive recreation, tourism, spa treatment, recreational and sport fishing, hunting. The main functions of recreational activities are studied: socio-cultural, economic and medical-biological: socio-cultural function is to involve people in significant cultural achievements of society, as well as creating conditions for self-development and self-realization of the individual; the economic function of recreational activities is to restore the productive potential of man, his strength to return to full employment; medico-biological function is to have a health-improving effect on the body and create resources for a healthy lifestyle. It is established that the service in recreational activities involves the development and implementation of service programs aimed at meeting the needs of vacationers in restoring strength, changing activities, gaining new experiences and entertainment. Problems of the organization of service are specified. It is assumed that to improve the quality of service in recreational activities it is necessary to form a strategic goal of the recreational process. Using modern methods of strategic portfolio analysis of the industry (ADL / LC matrix) to assess the current importance of recreational activities for the selected type of tourism. It is noted that the organization of quality services in recreational activities is also determined by its social significance, namely: the possibility of using recreational activities for the comprehensive development of the individual and meet its needs for self-realization; conditionality of recreational activities by cultural and historical factors, which is expressed in various forms of its organization and conduct. It is noted that the decisive factor determining the development of service in recreational activities is public policy.
