PERSPECTIVES OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AS PART OF THE LABOR POTENTIAL OF PLANET EARTH

The article discusses the prospects for the coexistence of artificial intelligence and humanity, from the point of view of labor potential and the situation in the labor market. The authors analyze the current situation, prospects for its development, and consider the probabilities of implementing various strategies for the coexistence of humanity with artificial intelligence. To achieve this goal, the following tasks were performed: the current situation and prospects for the development of artificial intelligence were analyzed; the main reasons and goals for which people created AI and expand its capabilities are analyzed; the key objective and subjective factors that reduce or increase the likelihood of implementing various strategies for the coexistence of humanity and AI are analyzed. Humanity is actively using capabilities of artificial intelligence for work. The purpose of expanding the capabilities of AI is to efficiently perform work and facilitate human working conditions or replace people in certain areas. AI already exists in many implementations, and currently does not pose a global threat to humanity but brings real prospects for changes in the labor market in terms of the competitiveness of specialists in certain professions, their partial or complete replacement by artificial intelligence. Separate problems are the threat of people's loss of control over some aspects of public life and the possible emergence of uncontrolled AI that will become aware of itself and look for ways to preserve itself. On the other hand, technological progress cannot be stopped, so the fundamental issue of the presence of AI in people's lives has already been resolved and AI became necessary to improve well-being of society. As a result of the analysis of points of view of specialized scientists and specialists, the authors proposed one of the most profitable ways of coexistence of humanity and AI.
