BASIC OBJECTIVES OF THE COMMON AGRICULTURAL POLICY OF EUROPEAN COUNTRIES AND THE EVOLUTION OF THE EU-UKRAINE DCFTA

Cooperation between Ukraine and the European Union is a priority area of Ukraine's foreign policy, which is implemented, among other things, in the context of cooperation in agriculture. Agriculture is an export-oriented sector, so it is important for Ukraine to implement EU agricultural policy norms in this area, including the Common Agricultural Policy. This is especially important in the context of the development of the EU-Ukraine DCFTA. Object of study: The EU's Common Agricultural Policy and the specifics of the development of the EU-Ukraine DCFTA. The subject of the study is the basic objectives of the Common Agricultural Policy of European countries and the evolution of the DCFTA between Ukraine and the EU. The purpose of the study is to define and analyse in detail the basic objectives of the Common Agricultural Policy of European countries and to analyse the evolution of the DCFTA between Ukraine and the EU. An analysis of relevant scientific works was carried out. The research was based on the main scientific sources on the chosen topic, analysis of the legal acts regulating the EU Common Core Policy and determining the development of the EU-Ukraine DCFTA. A detailed analysis of the peculiarities of the EU Common Agricultural Policy was carried out. The structure of the Common Agricultural Policy of the European Union is considered. The basic objectives of the EU's Common Agricultural Policy are defined. The role of the basic objectives is clarified. Changes in the context of the objectives of the EU's Common Core Policy that were introduced with the adoption of relevant regulations in 2021 are considered. The peculiarities of Ukraine-EU relations within the DCFTA are identified. The importance of integrating the norms of the EU's Common Agricultural Policy and the basic objectives of the Common Agricultural Policy in order to improve the development of EU-Ukraine relations in the context of the EU-Ukraine DCFTA is emphasised. In general, the study is of great scientific importance in terms of identifying the impact of the implementation of the EU Common Agricultural Policy on the development of the EU-Ukraine DCFTA.
