PROFESSIONALIZATION OF THE OFFICER-LEADER IN THE VOCATIONAL MILITARY EDUCATION SYSTEM

In the conditions of modern threats of a full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, interest in military leadership is growing as a way to solve many problems. The Armed Forces of Ukraine need strong and creative individuals to serve in difficult, extreme conditions. Training of military leaders is one of the most important conditions for the development of the modern Armed Forces of Ukraine. The purpose of the work. The purpose of the article is a theoretical analysis of the organization of the process of professionalization of the officer-leader in the system of professional military education. Methodology. In the proposed article, special attention is paid to the comparative analysis of the domestic and foreign experience of the professionalization of the officer-leader in the system of professional military education. Scientific novelty. It has been proven that professional military education should be aimed at training a modern officer-leader with acquired new competencies acceptable in the armed forces of the Euro- Atlantic alliance states. Examples of successful implementation of NATO initiatives in Ukraine in the field of military education are considered. Conclusions. It is noted that a military leader must make effective decisions and solve problems before him. For every serviceman defending Ukraine in a combat environment, it is important to develop character and professionalism, achieving perfection. It was established that leadership development should be considered not only as the development of a leader, but as the development of an officer and his or her ability to perform a professional task. Accordingly, the formation of the future officer is also directly related to the attitudes and values that form the basis of the decisions that the officer must make in service and combat activities.
