The article develops a socio-psychological method of adaptation of people who have experienced traumatic experiences, based on an integrated approach that includes psychological rehabilitation and social integration. The individual characteristics of the victims, their emotional state, cognitive strategies for coping with stress and the influence of the social environment on the recovery process are taken into account. In the process of research, key psychological mechanisms that contribute to or complicate adaptation after trauma are identified. Neuropsychological changes, features of emotional regulation, the importance of social support and the role of post-traumatic growth are analyzed. The effectiveness of existing therapy methods is assessed, in particular their capabilities in long-term recovery and social adaptation. An adaptation model is proposed, which includes three levels: psychological, neuropsychological and social. The psychological level involves the use of cognitive-behavioral therapy, exposure methods, acceptance and responsibility therapy, body-oriented techniques and psychoeducation. This level is aimed at reducing anxiety, overcoming depressive symptoms and forming effective self-regulation strategies. At the neuropsychological level, biological adaptation mechanisms are taken into account. Neurofeedback methods, meditative practices, physical activity, sleep regulation and rational nutrition are introduced. These measures contribute to the stabilization of neural processes, increasing neuroplasticity and restoring cognitive functions. The social level ensures the integration of victims into society through group therapy sessions, mentoring, social-role training, professional rehabilitation and volunteer initiatives. This contributes to the formation of new social connections, the development of communication skills and increased self-realization. The proposed approach creates a comprehensive adaptation system that combines modern achievements of psychology, neuroscience and sociology. It is expected that it will ensure not only the effective recovery of victims, but also resilience to future crisis situations, contributing to the improvement of their quality of life and harmonious integration into society.
