Abstract

The purpose of the research. The article is dedicated to conceptualization of organizational development in the sphere of Ukrainian higher education. Through the prism of functions of the structures of organizational development the authors have detected main tools of organizational development that can be used in the management of modern universities.
Methodology. The growing demand for initiative, creativity, non-standard approach to project activities, emotional stability, high motivation, future orientation, original application of special knowledge in solving professional problems, sustainable nature of communication productivity in the activities of a modern teacher of innovative university determines the need for special technologies, professional development by the administration of the institution. The responsibility of managers at all levels for human resource management, support for innovation in employees is a challenge for management in a modern university.
Scientific novelty. Ensuring the preparation and implementation of educational changes at different levels of the educational system is possible through the creation or development of new educational practices. These are non-linear situations of open dialogue, direct and feedback, solidarity educational adventure, immersion in one self-consistent pace of education. It is also a situation of awakening their own strengths and abilities, self-discovery, cooperation with themselves and other people, which helps in terms of innovative practices to optimize plans, programs, solutions, in general, the entire management system of the educational process in the institution.
Conclusions. The latest approaches to organizational learning through the joint activities of teachers, students, administration and other staff are increasingly seen as part of the concept of organizational development of universities.
